Why Tommy doesn't have to be the Green Ranger in Power Rangers.

For all you hating the idea of a female Green Ranger, there already is one with Rita and no one is complaining. This change was equally as controversial as say giving the Phantom Ranger an identity instead of a man of mystery, a mistake they made with Sam in Power Rangers SPD.
This is a film about a Ranger dealing with sexual orientation and a man of the spectrum so you want it to be less open minded?
They didn't make enough changes in this film?
