Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs Uchu Keiji Gavan The Movie review: 5 years later

This was pretty good.
The beginning starts with a scene of Dol fighting the Gokaigers. It did look a bit like something was off screen shooting at them and there was too much CGI, but it was exciting.

They also wasted the opportunity to use MagiDragon vs Dol.

Gavan captures the Gokaigers.

His teleport sequence looks quite accurate.

Gavan lazily does the turn to good, after naively just believing everything his so-called boss that everyone knew was a villain says. Now that the script's out of the way, can we continue.

Gavan II I'll call is in a more red-dish suit. Later on, he uses Red Lasers and Light Sabres compared to Gavan. He's really cool. He sorta reminded me of the Rider Hunter later on.

Seeing Kenji Ohba's 3 toku roles, I really do wonder why he was never a Kamen Rider since he's been here since Battle Fever J.

I don't get why the Battle Kenya Key can do lightning.

It was cool seeing a cameo from so many of the Super Sentai villains.

The flirting felt a bit whorish from both the human woman and guys in suits.
Alligator guy from Abaranger
Vancuria
Dark Shadow
The Go-onger villains flirting with the
Fly.

Go-busters cameo was a good cameo, but I would've like to have seen more i.e. something unique like having Basco hold onto the powers prior to the end of the series, since he was running out anyway. He also could've added on Metal Heroes and Kamen Rider powers till the end.

The budget in the end spent on Marvelous being saved by Gavan when young is sort of a waste. They never add to it, and it's not that great of a payoff for a storyline anyway.
